The free-standing roasting apparatus is placed in an existing fireplace. On the right-hand side it has 5 drive sleeves which all drive spits or roasting grills in the same direction of rotation. Behind the free-standing roasting apparatus are one or two ember baskets in which a standing ember of charcoal is created. Of the 5 drive sleeves, any 2 can always be used.

There are 2 different widths or spit or roast lengths available. This is sufficient for a maximum of 15 chicken or 18 kg of meat. All spits and roasting grills turn upwards on the standing embers, so that the dripping juice is “wound up” with the heat. We have sauce trays of the correct length for both widths. The speed of all spits and roast grill is 1.6 rpm.
